Ingredients

  • 150 - 200 grans mixed green salad
  • 100 - 120 grams smoked salmon
  • 3 dried barley bread (ntakos)
  • 5 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 - 3 tbsp olive oil
  • black pepper
  • dill

Instructions

  • Get a ready made or prepare a plate of fresh green salad. Wash it thoroughly and strain it to get rid of the water.
  • You may want to chop the slices of you smoked salmon in pieces.
  • In a bowl, add the green salad, then the smoked salmon and the cherry tomatoes. Squeeze the lemon and pour the juice of half a lemon (or a full lemon) onto the salmon.
  • You may also wish to add dried barley bread (ntakos) or crouton. Please soak the bread before you add it into the salad: you can either stick it under running water for a minute or put it on a plate and add some water letting it absorb it.
  • You can season the salmon with dill and/or ground black pepper (or rub some black pepper). Enjoy your salad!

Notes

Tip: If you don't like lemon, you may use a ready made dressing or a sauce suitable for fish.
