Green Salad with Smoked Salmon
This is a fresh salad for all seasons

Green Salad with Smoked Salmon
Ingredients
- 150 - 200 grans mixed green salad
- 100 - 120 grams smoked salmon
- 3 dried barley bread (ntakos)
- 5 cherry tomatoes
- 1 lemon
- 2 - 3 tbsp olive oil
- black pepper
- dill
Instructions
- Get a ready made or prepare a plate of fresh green salad. Wash it thoroughly and strain it to get rid of the water.
- You may want to chop the slices of you smoked salmon in pieces.
- In a bowl, add the green salad, then the smoked salmon and the cherry tomatoes. Squeeze the lemon and pour the juice of half a lemon (or a full lemon) onto the salmon.
- You may also wish to add dried barley bread (ntakos) or crouton. Please soak the bread before you add it into the salad: you can either stick it under running water for a minute or put it on a plate and add some water letting it absorb it.
- You can season the salmon with dill and/or ground black pepper (or rub some black pepper). Enjoy your salad!
Notes
Tip: If you don't like lemon, you may use a ready made dressing or a sauce suitable for fish.
