Ingredients

  • 10 courgette flowers
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 ml fresh milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • sea salt
  • ground pepper
  • dill

Instructions

  • First it is important to select fresh courgette flowers.
  • Then, it is necessary to clean the flower carefully in order to remove the flower pistil and any pollen in the petals.
  • You can let the washed courgette flowers in a colander to dry.
  • In a deep plate add the two eggs and whisk until they become a homogeneous mix.
  • Then add the remaining ingredients in the plate with the following sequence: the salt, the ground pepper, the dill, the milk and finally the flour.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan and add the two tablespoons of olive oil. Dip each courgette flower into the mix to absorb the liquids and place it in the frying pan.
  • Fry for a few minutes and turn them around to fry from both sides. Repeat until all courgette flowers are fried.
  • Let them cool for 5 minutes and serve. Enjoy!
